A few useful defaults: | Voice ID | Tone | |---|---| | `English_expressive_narrator` | warm, narrative (default) | | `English_Graceful_Lady` | calm, feminine | | `English_PassionateWarrior` | strong, dramatic | | `English_Comedian` | upbeat, playful | For the full list, the API model `speech-2.8-hd` exposes them via the docs. ## Audio format Default: `mp3` 32 kHz 128 kbps mono. Other formats: `pcm`, `flac`, `wav`, `opus`. ## After the call 1. Show the user the path written and the `trace_id` from the sidecar `.meta.json`. 2. Suggest reasonable next steps (preview, regenerate with different emotion). 3. Do NOT print the contents of the meta JSON to the chat — point at the file. ## Never do - Never echo, log, or commit the contents of `~/.claude-secrets/minimax-auth-token`. - Never pass the token on a command line — the CLI reads it from the file directly. - Never write the token to any other file, even a temp file. ## Reference Full option list: `minimax-gen voice --help`
